I began my education at Eastern Michigan University to be a math teacher, but God had other plans and called me into full-time, pastoral ministry. After my freshman year I transferred to Spring Arbor College (now University) where I received two certificates, one was a diploma (major: Philosophy/Religion - minor: Business) and the other was a marriage certificate. While at Spring Arbor I met Andrea, who became my wife in December 1996 (we now have three kids, Noah, Micah and Olivia). From there we moved to Wilmore, KY where I received my Masters of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary. We returned to Michigan where I served as an Associate Pastor of Edification at Coldwater FMC for two years. Our time here at Pulaski FMC began in June 2004.
