I began my education at Eastern Michigan University to be a math teacher, but God had other plans and called me into full-time, pastoral ministry. After my freshman year I transferred to Spring Arbor College (now University) where I earned my undergraduate degree in Philosophy/Religion (major) and Business (minor). While at Spring Arbor I met Andrea, who became my wife in December 1996 (we now have three kids, Noah, Micah and Olivia). From there we moved to Wilmore, KY where I received my Masters of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary. We returned to Michigan where I served as an Associate Pastor of Edification at Coldwater FMC for two years. Our time here at Pulaski FMC began in June 2004.

I began my educational journey intending to be either a teacher or a pastor. It is very funny how God works things out some times. During my first year at Spring Arbor College (now University), I felt God saying that I was to be a pastor for sure.  I pursued my degree in Philosophy/Religion. I also married my husband, Brian, half-way through my sophomore year. As I finished my degree in May 1995, I felt that perhaps God was leading me down a different path. He was and I followed. I returned to Spring Arbor and received my teaching degree in 2000. I felt God had led me to a full-time ministry in teaching, which He has. In August 2010, God called me to be both pastor and teacher. I now serve as youth director while I continue teaching full-time. It is exciting to see how God works as we walk down this new path in our lives. Brian and our two children (Brie and Isaac) felt this call to Pulaski together.
